What Surfaces Can You Wear Moulded Football Boots On?
Moulded boots are made primarily for grass that is hard, so if you’re playing in the summer, this is the best time to get your molded boots out.
Now why moulds are useful is because they give you that flexibility, especially if you are limited on a budget.
You can buy just one pair and that should cover you on the two main surfaces footballers play on nowadays.
That being a 3G typically for training sessions and grass for matchdays. Now, if you have the luxury of spending more money, then ideally, you want multiple pairs of football boots for different surfaces.
When it comes to 3G, the best boots you can get are astroturf or artificial grass ones, as they have been optimized for that surface with specific traction.
On the other hand, if you want to play on hard grass, moulded football boots are the only ones that are going to cut it.
I have played with indoor football boots on this surface, which you can get away with due to the flat sole, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
